Describe the application
Explain the software environment, deployment location and network workload. Include the operating system release and any required interfaces or expansion modules.
Specify the hardware
Provide CPU requirements, RJ45 port count and speed, SFP+, memory, storage, enclosure, cooling and power requirements. State whether you need a barebone or configured system.
Define the commercial scope
Include sample and production quantities, branding requirements, target market, packaging and delivery schedule. Ask for model-specific availability, minimum quantities, warranty and evaluation arrangements.
